How do I book a class?
Create an Mindbody account, visit our schedule, and BOOK the class you want to join. We recommend booking classes in advance to secure your spot. Some classes may have limited space and fill up quickly.
When should I plan to arrive before the class begins?
Please aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before your class to set up your mat, get changed, and unwind. We start on time and lock the front door 1 minute before class begins. If you’re not here by then, we may give your spot to someone on the waitlist, and the door will remain locked. So make sure you arrive on time to avoid disappointment.
We’re a shoe free zone, so please take off your shoes when entering the studio.
Storage units are provided for you to put your shoes and any other belongings.
How should I approach yoga if I’m a complete beginner?
At MOTION everyone is welcome, you don’t need any previous experience and our instructors provide modifications and guidance to accommodate different experience levels. Check our class descriptions for details on each class.

What do I need to bring to my class?
Comfortable Clothing: Wear breathable, stretchy clothes that allow for movement.
Water Bottle: Stay hydrated before and after class.
Yoga Mat: Feel free to bring them, although we provide these at the studio.
Towel: Optional, but useful for wiping sweat.
Personal Props: If you have your own yoga blocks, straps, or blankets, feel free to bring them, although we provide these at the studio.
Can I book through Classpass?
Yes, you can. All ClassPass reservations must be handled through the ClassPass platform and to their terms & conditions. We cannot mark you as present if you do not attend.
Do you offer private or one-on-one sessions?
Yes, we offer private and one-on-one sessions. Contact us directly to inquire about availability, pricing, and how to book a personalized session.
What is your Cancellation & No Show policy?
Class Cancellations: You may cancel your class booking through the Mindbody platform. MOTION’s class cancellation policy is 9 hours. If you do not cancel with at least 9 hours prior notice, this will constitute as a late cancel and your credit will not be returned to your account. If you have a monthly membership, you will be charged £8 late cancellation fee and a £10 no show fee. To receive a refund or credit, cancellations must be made at least 9 hours before the class start time. Those on class packs won’t have their credits returned without 9 hours’ notice.
ClassPass or other external third-party bookings are liable to their cancellation policy. We cannot override this.
Membership and Package Cancellations: Please note that memberships and class packages purchased through Mindbody are non-refundable. If you need to cancel, please provide at least 1 months’ notice in writing to hello@motionlondon.co.uk.
Can I join a class if I arrive late?
We recommend arriving at least 10-15 minutes before the class begins. Late arrivals may disrupt the class and may not be permitted to join for safety reasons. Check with the instructor if you’re running late.
Are there any public bike stands ?
Yes, there are a number of public bike stands opposite MOTION studio, so you can lock your bikes there if needed.
What are the nearest Transport Links ?
Bus Stop - Bowyer Place (2-minute walk to MOTION)
Easily reachable via multiple bus routes 12, 35, 40, 42, 45, 68, 148, 171, 176, 468 (we recommend Citymapper, Google Maps or another source for the most up-to-date transport links)

What if I have a medical condition or injury?
Please consult with your healthcare provider before starting yoga if you have any medical conditions or injuries. Inform your instructor before the class begins so they can provide modifications as needed.
Are your classes and facilities accessible?
We strive to make our studio accessible to everyone. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance so we can ensure you have a comfortable experience.
